The people of Nepal need support again!

28 Maj 2020

Following the devastating earthquakes in 2015, the majority of the Nepalese population lives in poverty and insecurity.

However, the Corona crisis and the associated measures have made the situation in the country even worse.

Since March 24, 2020, there has been a strict curfew in cities and villages. In addition, the borders with neighboring countries India and China, which are actually the main suppliers of food and medicine, are closed. The result: millions of people are suffering from hunger.

Our partner in Kathmandu, Nepal Matri Griha (NMG), is currently distributing food and learning materials to families in need. Since there are not enough funds available, priority is given to supporting families whose children attend the NMG school.

More humanitarian aid is urgently needed.
